CN:sexualisierte Gewalt, Cyber Mobbing

Hallo, wir, das Kollektiv (bittersüsz), sind eine kleine Gruppe aus FLINTA+ (Frauen,
Lesben, Inter, Nicht– binär, Trans*, A–Gender) und haben uns rund um die
Veranstaltung des Queerfeministischen Feierabends am 08. März 2022 in
Oldenburg gegründet. Danke für eure Einladung und eure Vorbereitungen. Wir
freuen uns hier sein zu dürfen. In unserer Arbeit wollen wir unterstützend sein und sicherere Räume für FLINTA+
schaffen, in denen sich ausgetauscht, vernetzt und solidarisiert werden kann. Wir
wollen gemeinsam Pläne schmieden, um dem Patriachat den Kampf anzusagen –
jeden verdammten Tag. Wie nötig diese Räume sind zeigte einmal mehr der Auftritt
von Faisal in der Kulturetage in Oldenburg.

Am 5.5.22 trat der besagte Comedian in der Kulturetage in Oldenburg auf. Trotz
ausreichend Informationen zu Faisals gewaltvollem und
sexistischem Verhalten wurde ihm dort eine Bühne geboten.
Es macht uns wütend, dass sich die Kulturetage in ihrer Stellungnahme nur auf die
aktuelle Debatte von Faisal fokussierte und beispielsweise die rassistischen
Äußerungen von 2017 gegenüber Motsi Mabuse nicht thematisiert wurden.
Eine kleine Randnotiz: Faisal ist ein Kollege und Freund von Luke und es überrascht
nicht, dass er sich zu dessen Situation nie öffentlich geäußert hat.

Doch zurück zu letztem Donnerstag: Kurz vor seiner Show suchte Faisal den Kontakt
mit den Protestierenden und zeigte sich unter dem Deckmantel eines friedlichen
Redeangebots dominant und mackerhaft. Er verzwickte sich in Widersprüche
zwischen Redeverbotsrhetorik, Individualisierung struktureller Probleme und
Ablenkung vom eigentlichen Thema: nämlich der gleichzeitigen Verherrlichung und
Verharmlosung von sexualisierter Gewalt. Seine Show vor der tatsächlichen
Show lesen wir als herablassenden, heuchlerischen PR Move und nicht als
tatsächliche Dialogbereitschaft.
Wir haben leise und laut versucht, ihm klarzumachen, dass es uns um strukturelle
sexistische Gewalt und die Verharmlosung dessen geht. Als Person des öffentlichen
Lebens sollte er Verantwortung übernehmen. Doch davon ist leider wenig zu sehen.
Faisal hat seine Show mit KO Tropfen–Witzen eröffnet und rief in den Tagen
nach seiner Show über seinem Instagram Account öffentlich u.a. zum Mobbing von
Teilnehmenden der Demonstration auf. Damit nicht genug: auch verbreitete er
Falschinformationen zum Ablauf des Protests, um die Aktion vor seine Follower*innen und Fans besser in sein Täter–Opfer–Schema, in dem er sich als
Opfer inszeniert, einzuordnen. Faisal betreibt hier Täter–Opfer–Umkehr, wie es im
Buche steht: sein Verhalten ist nun nicht mehr im Mittelpunkt, sondern das der
Demonstrierenden.

Wir sagen: Dein Verhalten ist untragbar, dein sogenannter Humor verfehlt jede
Pointe und deine vermeintliche Aufarbeitung ist nicht vorhanden. Faisal, reflektier
dein scheisz Verhalten! Und: liebe Veranstalter_innen auf der noch ellenlangen Tour:
Seid konsequent und gebt dieser offensichtlich gewaltvollen Sprache und Idee von
Komik keinen weiteren Raum!

In alledem sehen wir, dass auch er von Rassismus und anderen Formen struktureller
Gewalt und Diskriminierung betroffen ist – aber auch das ist aus unserer Sicht noch
lange kein Freifahrtschein, die Gewalt durch K O Tropfen zu verharmlosen und den
Tod einer meist weiblichen oder queeren Person damit in Kauf zu nehmen. Diese
Gewalt hat System und er hat gezeigt, auch mit weiteren Witzen in der Show, dass er
das nicht reflektiert hat und seine Entschuldigung – so oft er sie wiederholen mag
– nicht ernst gemeint ist.

Nun hören wir die Worte einer Betroffenen der Cyber–Mobbing Attacke:

Hey! Wie schön, dass du da bist und zuhörst!
United Dinkel Dörthes of Oldenburg are calling. Dinkel Dörthe klingt im ersten
Moment cringe und antifeministisch für dich? Das mag daran liegen, das es aus
Faisals Feder ist.
Vier von uns wurden am Wochenende von Faisal auf seinem 333 000 Follower*innen
Instagram Kanal ohne uns zu fragen unzensiert veröffentlicht, bloßgestellt und aus
seiner Sicht lächerlich gemacht. Aber guess who makes himself lächerlich: it’s you,
Faisal.
Mit vorheriger Umfrage, wie geil es seine Community finden würde, ein Video von
uns auf seinem Account zu sehen, verbreitet er am 7.5. ein Video unserer Diskussion
auf Instagram. In dem Video kommt er echt schlecht weg, Mackertum, keine
Argumente, ausweichend und platt. Er fand es trotzden unglaublich witzig, 1 von uns
Dinkel Dörthe zu nennen, um dann in seinen Stories auf einem extra
herangezoomten Bild von der Person zum Memes machen aufzurufen.
Ganz ehrlich? Im ersten Moment hatte ich zumindest Schiss. Was passiert jetzt? Wer
sieht das alles? Erkennt uns jemand? Meinen die Faisalfans in den
Kommentarspalten, die laut Namen und Profilbildern meist männlich zu lesen sind,
das ernst? Im zweiten Moment dann: Wut. Wie jämmerlich kann man mit Kritik
umgehen? Wie gewaltvoll kann man gegenüber Personen, die sexualisierte Gewalt
erfahren haben, sein? Wie kann die Kulturetage so jemandem eine Bühne geben?
Wieso reagiert die Kulturetage nicht, obwohl er weitere KO Tropfen Witze und andere antifeministische, reaktionäre, sexistische, gequirlte Scheiße von sich gibt? Wo sind
hier wirkliche Konsequenzen für wirkliche, reale Gewalt?

So langsam gehen dann die Gefühle durcheinander: Angst, Wut, Panik, bis dann
zwischendrin immer mehr, immer öfter, und bleibend, Wärme, Aufgehobensein und
feministische Verbundenheit und Power zu spüren sind. Die Solidarität war zu krass.
Die ganze antifaschistische, queerfeministische Bande in Oldenburg und drüber
hinaus: zu krass. Ganz viele waren da, haben gekocht, gefragt, gedrückt, sich
organisiert, geschrieben, telefoniert, Tiermemes verschickt, verbündet, empowert,
zusammen gewütet und gelacht.
Wir haben nun Kontakt zu HateAid, einer Beratungsstelle gegen Hass im Netz, und
werden auch von der Seite gut versorgt.
Niemand hätte diese Scheiße gebraucht, niemand hat irgendwas davon, von der KO
Tropfen Androhung auf Instagram bis zur Social Media Kotze auf Faisals eigenem
Account, gebraucht. Wir sind angestrengt und müde vom Wochenende und vom
Leben in sexistischen, antifeministischen Verhältnissen. Aber: Wir sind jetzt
organisierter als zuvor. Wir sind hier und wir fordern Konsequenzen! Keine Show für
Täter!

Am Ende geht nochmal ein krasses Danke an die queerfeministischen Gruppen in
Oldenburg raus, die gerade heftigen Support leisten und da sind! Wir lassen uns
nicht unterkriegen!

Hi, we – the collectiv bittersüz that’s bittersweet translated, are a little group of
WLINTA+ (Women, Lesbean, Inter, Nonbinary, Trans* and A–Gender). We formed for
the queerfeminist evening this 08th of March in Oldenburg.
Thank you for your invitation today and your preparations. We are very glad to be
here.
In our work we want to be supportive and create safer Spaces for WLINTAs to share,
connect and form strong solidarities. Together we want to plan the fight against the
partriarchy – every damn day. How necessary those spaces are showed once again
the show of Faisal in the Kulturetage in Oldenburg last week.

Last week on the 5th of May the comedian had a show in the Kulturetage Oldenburg.
They had enough information beforehand about his violent and sexist actions and still
gave him their stage.
We are furious aboout their public statement before his show. They also only
focussed on the recent dicussion about his online comments and for example did not
consider his racist remarks about Motsi Mabuse back in 2017.
A little side note: Faisal is a colleague and fried of Luke. We are therefor not suprised
Faisal never publicly commented on Lukes messed up shit.
But lets focuss a little bit more on last Thursday in Oldenburg: Just before his show
Faisal came outside and confronted the protest. He tried to portray himself as calm
and interested in a discussion but actually was a dominant douche bag throughout as
always.

He got cought up in contradictions, silencing techniques, individualising structual
problems and trying to distraction from the actual concerns: the glorification and
downplaying of sexualised violence. We understand His show outside ahead of his
actual show as condescending and hypocritical pr move and not as actual willingness
to discuss.
In loud and more quieter ways we tried to push him to realise the structual sexualised
violence in his comments. As a person in public he has to take responsibility.
We can not recognize any of that.
Faisal acutally oppend up his show with a another joke about ko drops. In the
following days he used his instagram to publicly shame the protestors also sharing
photos and videos of individuals. Furthermore he shared false information about the
events and used them to mobilize his fans into believing he was the actual victim.
Faisal reverses the roles and tries to stage himself as a victim: now his actions are
not the focus anymore but the prostests.
We argue: Your actions are intolerable, your so called humor aint funny and your
supposed excuses are not real at all. Faisal, reflect and act on your action!
And to all venues on his ongoing tour: Show your self responsible and do not give
your stage to those violent words and ideas of comedy!
with all that said we want to state clearly that we recognize his experiences of racism
and as structual discrimination – but for us that is no excuse to belittle violent
experiences involving ko drops and lightly accepting the very real death threat a ko
drop can be for mostly FLINTA or queer people.
This violence is systematic! and with more jokes througout his show Failsal showed
the true nature of his publice apologies. No matter how often he will repeat them – we
will not accept.

Now we would like to share some words of those protestors affected by his cyber
mobbing:

United Dinkel Dörtes of Oldenburg are calling. Dinkel Dörtes sounds cringy and
antifeminist at first? Thats because Failsal actually named us like that.
Photos and videos of the four of us Failsal shared to his 333 000 Instagram following
without any censoring or consent trying to publicly ridicule us.
But guess who looks outright ridicilous in all this? it’s you, faisal.
he actually ran a poll before sharing the video to stir up his community with
excitement shared the video of our discussion before the show on the 07th of may. In
the video Faisal himself does not make a good impression: no arguments, evasive
and boring. He still finds it disgustingly funny to call one of us Dinkel Dörthe and post
zoomed in pictures with the invitation to his fans to create memes.
To be honest for a moment there we were taken back and afraid. Whats going to
happend next? Whos is seeing this? Do we get recognized? How serious Are the
threats in the comments against us? A little bit later we were just raging with fury.
How pitiful does can one react to critique? How violent can one be against the group
who actually experienced sexualised violence? How can the Kulturetage justify this
person on their stage? Why did they not react and stop the show after Faisals literal
opening joke about ko drops and more antifeminist and sexist shit to just name a
few? Where are the actual consequences for his violence?
Right now our feelings are all over the place: fear, fury, panic but in between and
more and more warmth and care and connection in our queerfeminist power gangs.
The solidarity this week has been amazin. All the antifascist and queerfeminist
groups and cuties are there for us – cooked, asked, hugged, organised, texted, send
funny animal videos, teamed up, empowerd, raged and laughed it off.
We are in close contact with Hate Aid, they are a consultancy with expertise in online
hate.
Nobody wanted to deal with all this shit. Starting from Faisals first comments to Joice
Ilgs post all the way to the online hate we experience now.
We are exhausted and tired from this last week and in general living in this sexist and
antifeminist world. But: We are more unionized then ever.
We demand consequenzes! No show for offenders!
We are in Bremen today to fight together against all the sexist dudes.
